The Fender Twin Reverb is the commonly accepted industry standard for players seeking that crystal clean, lead and rhythm Fender guitar sound, and it is especially known for the quality of its built-in spring reverb The Twin Reverb is possibly one of the most versatile in the Fender range, suitable for anything from rock to country [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], blues to soul and Jazz Funk.
The ’59 Bassman Reissue is a 45 watt, all tube amp, fitted with a 4 x 10” Jensen P-10R 8ohm AlniCo magnet speaker configuration. It comes covered in the eye-catching and classic tweed covering, ox-blood striped grill cloth, and all original input features. The tube compliment is a combination of 3 x 12AX7’s, 2 x GT6L6’s and a single 5AR4 rectifier tube. It weighs in at 53lbs.
The ’65 Princeton Reverb was originally introduced as a practice amp, but enthusiasts soon discovered that it was capable of much more. Many guitarists since have used it as their main studio amp, adding a stomp box here and there [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], and even found them useable for small gigging situations. Jim Capmilongo is one the Princeton’s greatest advocates.

Vintage Reissue: ’65 Twin Reverb
As the original versions of these amps are fast becoming collector’s items [link widoczny dla zalogowanych], selling for substantially more than they ever cost new, these new reissues are a relatively inexpensive way to recreate that famous Fender tone.
Originally introduced in 1963, the ’65 Super Reverb was essentially a Fender Super amplifier with built-in reverb and vibrato. 1965 was perhaps its most renowned production era and became particularly famous for its coupling with the Fender Stratocaster; however, players of all styles and models have enjoyed its shimmering and rich tone ever since.

Vintage Reissue: ’59 Bassman
A round up of Fender's Vintage Reissue guitar amplifiers.
The ’65 Twin Reverb Reissue is an 85 watt, all tube amp, fitted with a 2 x 10” Jensen C-12K 8ohm ceramic magnet speaker configuration. It comes covered in the original black textured vinyl covering, featuring silver grill cloth and blackface control panel. All original input features are included. The tube compliment is a combination of 4 x 12AT7’s, 4 x GT6L6’s. As with all Twin Reverb’s, it is home to a solid state rectifier tube. It weighs in at 64lbs.
Originally designed as a bass guitar amplifier, it quickly became apparent to the more adventurous players of the day that the ’59 Bassman also made a particularly good lead guitar amp too. This was on account of its unique tonal and dynamic characteristics. A cathode follower in the circuit seemed to provide a pleasing compression of the sound, whilst also allowing an increase in current. This sent more signal to the power amp as a result.
The ’65 Super Reverb Reissue is a 45 watt, all tube amp, and as with the ’59 Bassman, is fitted with a 4 x 10” Jensen P-10R 8ohm AlniCo magnet speaker configuration. It is covered with a traditional black textured vinyl and has the classic silver grill cloth and blackface control panel. Along with its all original input features the ’65 Super Reverb has a unique tube driven spring reverb. The tube compliment is a combination of 4 x 12AX7’s, 2 x 12AT7’s and a single 5AR4 rectifier tube. This one weighs in at 65lbs.
