In Real World New Orleans Episode 1, we met the eight strangers occupying this season's Real World house.
Another night, another bar. It’s just Jemmye, Ashlee and Ryan, who insists they leave because there aren’t enough girls. The look Ashlee, easily the cast member with the best arsenal of facial expressions, gives him says, “You cannot possibly be serious.” He is, so they leave. The three arrive at the house and realize none of them brought a key. Crouched in the fetal position, Jemmye says, “I’m about to piss on myself, like, for real.” Ryan hops the fence and hurts his shoulder doing so. “I feel like my right shoulder was pulled out of its socket,” he says.
It’s Complicated between Sahar and this dude Pablo back in Michigan. They’re not In a Relationship or anything, which makes things kind of unclear for Eric, who was digging Sahar from the first day. They flirt a lot, dance and even share a kiss at a bar. Jemmye thinks Sahar is “mesmerized,” despite her repeated claims that she’s sort of committed to Pablo without being committed to Pablo. The next morning, Eric gets coy when Jemmye asks about the highlight of his night. She expects him to say it was the kiss, but he swears McKenzie making him pancakes was the best part.

Ryan continues to weird out his roommates via ear fondling. He plops down next to Sahar, who’s on the phone, and starts massaging her earlobe. Nearby on the computer, Ashlee looks over with the most hilarious WTF look on her face. Knight thinks Ryan’s fascination with warm ears is creepy. “I feel like all of a sudden, he’s going to pull out a jar of people’s ears he cut when he was cutting hair or something,” he says.
Episode 2 kicks off with Ryan talking a mile a minute about how he loves to cuddle anytime,Air Force 1, anywhere, with anyone. Ashlee just looks at him like, “O-kaaaaay!” while Preston just smiles and mentally files this information for future reference. Like the next scene, in which Ryan is sitting in bed, blow-drying himself. As you do. Preston crawls into Ryan’s bed. “We’re cuddling and he’s touch my earlobe and I’m laying on his chest. Ah!” Preston tells us. “He’s blowing the blow-dryer on me — that’s… kind of weird.”
Jemmye tells us, “I’m trying to lose my white boy virginity. I’m taking applications. I’m taking names and numbers; it’s going down.” Ashlee says she will permit her brother, who is coming to visit New Orleans for his 21st birthday, to be Jemmye’s first white guy. Knight hopes for it to be him, though.
The group has a discussion about addiction, with which Preston's mom and Eric's dad both had problems. Knight,Nike Dunk Shoes, too, who got hooked on his painkillers while recovering from shoulder surgery and subsequently went to rehab. “If he can take what he learned in rehab and apply it here,Air Trainer Huarache, I think it’ll be really fulfilling for him. But I also think it’s going to be crazy hard,” Ashlee says.
"Who hurts their shoulder jumping a fence?"
Ryan swears he’s never felt such pain and Eric takes him to the hospital. The rest of the roommates think he’s completely ridiculous, though. Jemmye is like, “Who hurts their shoulder jumping a fence?” Well, lots of people. But probably not Ryan, who just seems to be on the hunt for mass amounts of attention.
