Easy-to-make, quick, and inexpensive, this is a project that can be thrown together in no time. There is also very little clean-up afterwards, except for cookie crumbs and a little frosting of course.

For a more substantial dessert, consider placing the spider cookies atop "red velvet" cupcakes after the tops have been frosted.
